Job Summary
The New York City office is Enterprise’s largest local office, with 50 employees. The office is responsible for more than $200 million annually in affordable housing production in New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area, as well as investment in the broader northeast region. In December 2008, Enterprise surpassed the Billion Dollar Promise to New York City, creating 16,000 affordable homes within five years. Overall, Enterprise New York has committed more than $2 billion in equity, grants, and loans to community development projects across the city.

Enterprise’s New York City office is a "green" space featuring sustainable harvested cork flooring, low-V.O.C. (volatile organic compounds) paints, and carpets and furniture made from recycled materials. The office is laid out in an open floor plan to promote a collaborative work environment.


Job Responsibilities
Intern will work on the following projects related to Green Communities:

Retrofit Pilot
Data collection from partners & collation of energy analysis results
Assist in development of financial analysis model
Assist in drafting presentation materials based on analysis

Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Year 15 (Y15) Pilot
Assist in pipeline development, coordinating information from Y15 stakeholders (National Equity Fund, Enterprise, NY Housing Preservation and Development)
Assist in template documentation development
Assist in recordkeeping/pipeline trafficing
Assist in metrics development and presentation for pilot progress reporting
Qualifications
Graduate student in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related.

Ability to work full-time for approximately 8 weeks beginning July 6.
